Our website
We want hiiverooms.com to be usable by as many people as possible. The site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. It includes:
- A clear heading structure and labelled form controls
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- Text alternatives for images
- Colour contrast that meets WCAG AA
- Reduced motion for visitors who have turned it on in their device settings
Known limitations
- The booking and payment steps are provided by Cloudbeds, a third-party service. We don't control its accessibility, and it may differ from the rest of this site.
- WhatsApp chat is provided by Meta and follows its own accessibility standards.
- The site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. We plan to have one within 12 months of launch.
If any part of the website is difficult to use, including booking, contact us and we will take your booking by phone or email at the same Book Direct rate and benefits.
Our building
City Rooms by Hiive is in a historic building in Worcester city centre.
- Stairs: the building has steep internal staircases, and there is no lift.
- Because of this, the hotel may not be suitable for wheelchair users or guests who find steep stairs difficult. Please contact us before booking so we can talk through your needs.
- Luggage: please let us know if you'll need help with heavy luggage.
- CCTV operates in communal areas and outside the building.
- Assistance dogs are always welcome.
If you have access needs, please call 01905 964700 or use our contact form before booking. We will tell you honestly which room suits you best.
